New Tribes Missions

Picture
New Tribes Bible Institute: is an intensive 2 year program which is the first phase of training with NTM. All courses focused on the study of biblical truth and how it applies to everyday life, while laying a foundation for cross-cultural missions. Classes included Hermeneutics, Evangelism in a Post-Modern World, and Biblical Basis for Missions. We graduated from NTBI in the spring of 2006. The Missionary Training Center: the second phase of training (MTC) is designed to equip missionaries for barriers they will face in geography, culture, language and self. Focuses are on Foundational Bible Teaching, Cross-cultural Church Planting, Language Acquisition and Cultural analysis. Some of the classes were Form and Meaning, Phonetics, Animism, Communicating Cross-Culturally, as well as classes on Teamwork, Practical Skills and Missionary Technology. Many of these courses were utilized and put into practice daily at our outreachministries and work details. We were also able to take advantage of the diverse wisdom, experience, and knowledge of the MTC staff. We graduated from the MTC in the winter of 2008 with a B.A. in Intercultural Studies.
